draw route automatically should consider active layer

gmap-pedometer's draw route automatically feature seems to always follow the Google Map layer, even if OSM layer is selected. Instead, the active layer should be used to determine the automatic route.
When clicking on the area near Woburn Reservoir or Country Club with automatic route enabled, the system will route only as far as roads exist on the Google Map layer, regardless of active layer.
