I'm seeing the same thing. I've got this route http://gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5921918 and when I save it as a new route I get the NaN route number. This is kicking in at the length you see (284km).
Was trying to build it up to 400km (long ride on Saturday!)

I am trying to record a long trip (several hundred miles/kms) and get a http://www.gmap-pedometer.com?r=NaN as a saved route. What gives?
