It would be really convenient if there were several different possibilities for units instead of just miles. For instance, if there were a choice between miles, kilometers, and feet (the same way you can choose between runners, bikes, and manual). That would be really handy. For shorter distances I always prefer to have in feet, vs. some fraction of a mile.
