Gmap Pedometer Mileposts

I had a look at this lake. Triathlon training takes place here during the summer months to let triathletes get some open water swimming practice in their wetsuits.

Unfortunately the resolution is very bad - much worse than the www.maps.google.co.uk equivalent page (yes, I've read the forum describing why this is).

Here is a very approximate route round the lake:
