Some of the routes I have mapped lately have shown an elevation gain of 2 or 3 hundred thousand feet whereas I know the correct figure will be about 1000ft. Examples are routes 5317868 and 5342102. What's going on and how do I correct this?

A 41 mile route with 163 miles of elevation gain at http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5420750. Is this a record? And does anyone care?
17.4 miles with 184 miles of climbing at http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5469800 . Will this be an Olympic record if I can repeat it at the right time?
