I am training for a marathon. I have been an avid runner for a while now and I am now stuck behind a desk at a call center. I am finding it hard to prevent cramps in my legs after sitting all day. anyone know of any ways to avoid this?

I don't know if this is the real cause of your cramps, but I can tell you that the only time I have experienced leg cramps was when I was severely dehydrated. Couldn't hurt to try a few glasses of water through the day and see what happens...

I always find eating a banana 20 mins before extercise really helps.
This article explains why better than I ever could :-)
If you are able/allowed to do so, consider getting a portable stair-stepper to get some leg movement in during the day. A couple of 20-30 minute sessions of stair stepping at my desk during the day have really helped me cut down on the stiff leg feeling at the end of the day.
