I am training for my first half marathon at age 59. I'm trying to train by running three days a week and swimming two days a week. I'm adding a mile a week until I am running 6 miles three days a week then I am adding a mile to I reach 12 miles. I won't run more than 12 miles before race day. Has anyone had success using a similar training plan?
