"Save Route" no longer "blinks" to confirm the Save has completed.

I see what you mean, it would be good to have a better UI around that. I'll think about a way to modify the "SAVE ROUTE" button to signal that there are unsaved changes. All the text editors I use for development have subtle but effective ways to communicate this, I'll "seek inspiration from" [steal] one of the affordances I find there.
