I use my Garmin 305 (hey, its paid for!) to record my walks. The walk is in at least two "laps", one of 2.5 miles, and the other of 1.75-2.25 miles. Is there a way to enter lap distance and times WITHOUT having to create separate routes for each segment?

This may be restating the previous question, but is there a way to include multiple traverses of a closed path as part of a larger "route"? The path in question is highly irregular in shape and is partially obscured by trees. All that makes for a very pleasant run, but tracing it ONCE is very tedious. After ascertaining its exact length, how do I build a one-mile run without having to retrace the path three-plus times?
