Saved routes on large screens zooming to wrong place

Whenever I open a saved route on my desktop, the display zooms into somewhere directly south of the route. However if I use a computer with a smaller screen, or reduce the size of the browser window, it correctly zooms into the route. This seems to be directly related to the height of the browser window - when it's full screen at 2560x1600 it zooms in to a point in northern Spain. As I reduce the window height it gets closer, until at around 1400 pixels high it correctly displays Cambridge in the UK. I've seen this with recent versions of Chrome and Firefox on both Linux and Windows.
